It is through the publisher Shueisha we learn the production of the anime Blue Exorcist Season 2!

The animated series is planned for 2017, in Japan. It covers the arc of King Unclean (Tomes 5 ~ 9 of the manga). More information soon.

Synopsis - Arc of King Unclean (very tentative) :

• The story involves us alongside students exorcists which combat the demons that appear on Earth.
  
• The eye of Fujou-Or (impure king) was stolen from the secret room of the Academy. Rin and his comrades are sent to find him, which leads them to Kyoto where the second eye is located.
  
• Family Ryuji's mission is to protect it.
  
• But when both eyes are combined, King Unclean, a demonic entity that has left thousands dead in the middle of the 19th century, back to life ...

The Blue Exorcist manga (Ao no Exorcist) of Kazue Kato has begun in 2009 in the Shueisha Publishing and currently of 16 bound volumes in Japan.

Following Blue Exorcist will be broadcast in 2017 on Japanese television.

The launch countdown on the official website of Blue Exorcist concerned a new season of the anime will cover the battle between the Fujo-O at the Academy of the True Cross.

Volume 16 of the manga is available from 20 April 2016 to Kazé editions.
